The webinar was moderated by Boyd Garriott and it featured panelists Ashkhen Kazaryan, Joel Thayer, and Free State Foundation President Randolph May. The webinar expert panel discussed the meaning and scope of immunity conferred on online platforms under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, particularly in light of the case of Gonzalez v. Google. The issue in focus in the case is whether immunity under Section 230(c)(1) applies when online platforms make targeted recommendations of content to viewers.
